Boutique Hotel Helmhaus Zurich

Great location - very convenient to walk around the old town and near the lake. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are modern and clean. We are a family of five and stayed in two connecting rooms on the top floor. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to any family coming to Zürich!

My family stayed at the Helmhaus hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent - it is right near the river, very close to restaurants and shops. Our rooms were very nice and clean and updated with a lot of nice perks. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. Overall, would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We arrived (very!) early — a family of 4 — for a two night stay at the Helmhaus. We had traveled to Zurich from New York and arrived at the hotel at 9a and were greeted very warmly by the super kind and amiable person at the front desk who noted that while only one of our two rooms was available (since we were there way in advance of the normal checkin time) we were welcome to squeeze into that 1 room. Which we did VERY gratefully — took a long nap and woke up ready to explore Zurich. The Hotel is in a fabulous location right in the old town — with a/c and double-panes windows that ensure comfort and quiet (since it’s a lively part of town); the staff is very friendly; the rooms are stylish and super clean; the breakfast was wonderfully generous and tasty— in short, this is a great find! We loved Zürich and the Helmhaus and will return ASAP.
