Great stay. Perfect for families visiting kids at NJC. Suite has lots of room and comfortable pullout.

Great room - I had booked a junior suite. Despite this expense it was disappointing to arrive (early around 1am) and find that all the parking spaces were reserved and that there was no availability to eat in the hotel that evening. Reception did their best to find me somewhere 15 minutes drive away but I was amazed that a) I didn’t get an email from the hotel to highlight that availability would be an issue and b) that they’ve not managed to be able to provide dining facilities for all guests. Other hotels I’ve stayed at in the past few weeks have managed this well with dual slots over dinner. Also because they’d decided to use the rooftop terrace as a restaurant in the evening (yet still not enough availability!) there was nowhere to sit and have a drink in the hotel other than your room. Finally, every time I had to go to reception there was a queue of 15 mins or more. Mainly because there is no concierge desk and reception are not just checking people in or out but also fulfilling this role and answer guest queries. Not good for a 4 star hotel. Great location next to the lake, the room was great and the reception team did their best. Seemingly just poorly managed but of course they will always do well because of the location. It’s just a shame as it could be a really great hotel!

The hotel was a less a hotel and more a building site. Had this been known at time of making thr reservation I certainly wouldn't have booked it at all. The sound proofing needs improving - air-condition vents enabled noise to circulate far too easity, I was truly impressed at the stamina of the couple who were have a whale of a time and whose expolits were amplified for the entertainment or horror of all.. Not a hotel to take children, altho this too might have been a consequence of the building work. Extremely limited parking (5 places only) is a shame but cheap public parking is available 50 metres down the road. In its current condition in my view its not worth its star rating nor its price but all said and done we stayed just one night and the dust and overall mess didnt extend to the room which was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
