Save your funds for expensive watches and chocolate, and don't expect big-chain services and add-ons from the family-owned Hotel de Geneve. I found the hotel warm and welcoming, and it reminded me of journeys across Europe as a young child, staying in austere pensiones. The staff loves their work and making guests happy. The rooms and bathrooms are quite compact, so plan on spending your time exploring, not in the room.
