La belle vue - Boutique Hotel & Café

Disappointing as I overlooked that there’s no fridge and kettle in the room. Room is small. We have to walk out of the room to the corridor to use the kettle. The filter water at the corridor was not topped up within the day though we can bring down to cafe to have it filled up during cafe operating hours. Kettle is also very dirty with what I believed is limestones or calcium from the hundreds times of boiling. You can see the residue floating on the water in the kettle. Hot should ensure it’s cleaned or changed periodically. I had to wash it myself so that we can boil and drink clean water. We booked for 2A2C but only 3pairs of slippers provided. Beds were not very clean. But the rest of the daily housekeeping is satisfactory. Room has a nice view of the lake but was uncomfortable as the family room we booked opens balcony to a shared terrace where anyone else can actually access. Paid CHF338/night which I feel is abit pricey for the amenities provided. But receptionist Deborah is nice and polite. We dined at the hotel for dinner and food is exceptional good! Staff (a man whom we mistook as the chef) who served us was friendly and attentive too! Worth a try! Dinner only available from Thurs-Sat. Hence, the staff and view of the hotel makes it an overall pleasant stay.
