Jetwing Yala

Wow!!! One of the best hotels ever. Staff are so friendly, kind and attentive. The food is out of this world. The chef at Jetwing Yala is such a wonderful person. My family are all in agreement- this is the best hotel.

Pleasantly surprised to have this experience at a Hotel that is situated 10 minutes away from a Wildlife park. The hotel is in very good condition, large rooms with modern amenities and spacious washrooms (Loved the waterfall pipe). Food quality was amazing and we got all the usuals for a hearty breakfast. The beach is lovely, the pool is well maintained and the staff are immaculate. Gym and Spa are well maintained. Lots of activities for kids. The Turtle hatchery they've got on the beach was a definite plus to our experience. And all the wildlife, very safe, but so much to see.

The whole family enjoyed the stay. Our kids loved the pool and access to the beach. Will definitely give 5 out of 5 stars on attentive staff, cleanliness, comfort. 4 out of 5 on dining. My biggest complaint was I tried to reserve a safari jeep through the hotel for the Yala safari tour and the hotel was going to charge more than USD 100 per adult for the jeep because we were non-Sri Lankan. This is unacceptable. I directly spoke with a local safari tour company and arranged a safari keep + tour guide for SLR 5000, which is equivalent to USD 25 for the whole family. It is unfortunate when a reputed hotel practices that type of price gouging behavior.
