Hotel Servigroup Galúa

Previously visited in 1971 on family holiday as a 14 yr old teenager. Refurbished to high standard but disappointing that no hot drinks facility in the room and only 1 iron available for the whole horel and NO ironing board

Pros: great views (opt for room with balcony); friendly and helpful staff; good buffet that varies every day; plenty parking both paid and free; provided baby crib and the hotel is "baby friendly" Cons: Rooms could need an upgrade and maintenance; gym is VERY small and you need to book in advance as it fits only one person; staff speaks very limited English Location: Great for relaxation and beach vacation; Murcia and Cartagena are about 30-60 min away

Spent 10 nights with wife and 3 years daughter. At first received a room without balcony, but replaced on the next day. Hotel is very popular among local Spanish citizens, so most of staff do not speak English, however that was a problem. Food is great, fresh juice, meat and fish. However drinks on fullboard are not included on lunch and dinner, you will be proposed to buy vine, water, beer or juice. Vine you can leave for the next time in the fridge. The location is perfect. Just near the hotel long sea beach with very few people in weekdays and a little more on weekend. Seaview from the room balcony is stunning. If windy or waves, in 20 minutes of walk there is another beach on the other side of LA Manga without any waves. Both beaches are ideal for kids. There is animation and night minidisco, but on Spanish.
