Hotel MiM Sitges

A lovely 5 nights, wish we could have stayed longer but alas they were full. Our junior suite was a total joy and worked beautifully for our needs. Location from beach and in town area was perfect for our desire to walk around and explore.

I booked 5 rooms for family and friends and Alex provided good friendly service during my check-in. The room was available earlier, which was appreciated. Only one bottle of complimentary water was given, even though there were 2 persons in my room and only on the first day. The day/ lace curtains in my room could not close fully as it would appear that either the rollers are jammed or they were too short to overlap. It needs to be changed/ refreshed. Water flowed out from the shower cubicle onto the floor in the bathroom as I could see that the rubber trim at the bottom of the sliding door was a little worn. I had to carefully avoid standing too close to the door when I showered subsequently and folded the floor mat to create a dam of sorts! The buttons for the lift, especially the one on the right, did not light up and I noticed I had to press the "up" button on the left to go downstairs; does it mean one has to call for the lift to come up to my floor to go down? More vegetables like cucumber, carrots and lettuce should be included in the breakfast spread as there was a lot of meat and cheese and eggs but not vegetables at all! There were fruits and yogurt available too -thank goodness! The lady at the restaurant was always smiling and friendly, which was great to start the day off with a smiling face. Overall it was a pleasant stay at this hotel and I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

I stayed at MiM for 7 nights in July in a junior suite. Overall a nice hotel but I don’t think its quite value for money (2.000 EUR for the 7 nights). Positive things first: Nice decor, very friendly staff, great roof terracce, spacious room and bathroom. Whats less positive: Breakfast had limited selections, and was a mess if you came after 9.30’ish: Dirty tables, no cutlery/service even after multiple requests to waiters. No refilling of food. I think the buffett area is to small to service even a half full restaurant - people were standing on top of each other. Not a relaxing way to start your mornings when on holiday. The gym was basically ok, but a bit dark in the basement and the water was not refilled / no cups available. The minibar in the room was good and cheap, but you pay 1 EUR for coffee. Small amount but when you pay 285 EUR/night I expect it to be included. There are no balconies in the hotel. I knew this when booking, so no issue for me. And if the roof top is enough for you then dont hesitate to book. However, despite a nice stay, next time I will go to Sitges I’ll consider a place with more value for money. 285 EUR/night can get you quite far and MiM is not quite there.
