Hotel Gotico

Fantastic on first arrival, room was ready at 9am. Although it smelt fusty and damp due to lack of ventilation in the bathroom/room it was clean and tidy. The beds qere extremely uncomfortable and it became apparent upon going to bed from 9.30am we were going to struggle to sleep. My mum has severe arthritis and couldnt get comfy and the noise from the room 202 next door was horrendous. I believe my bed was back to back with their bathroom and from 9.30-11.40pm numerous people were using the shower etc and it sounded like a sunami going through the room. Video footage i took in the dark sounds awful. I complained to reception advising we were due up to leave for our flight at 4am and how uncomfortable we were, the hotel was full aparently and he couldn't grasp what the issue was. He then proceeded to room 202/203 as i was going back to my room and told the family there he was investigating my complaint about the noise they were making. I had to intervene and apologise to them as it was not there fault the hotel wasn't fully sound proofed or got the layout correct with the rooms. It was quite a tense non required situation. The receptionist told me to complain to the manager at 4am when inwas due to check out. We managed to get maybe 1-2 hours sleep if that and upon check out got the exact same person who i dealt with earlier that night who basically said what do you want me to do about it. The manager isnt here until around 8am. A complaint is on the way!!
