Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona

This Hilton hotel was a great fit for our family, there is a plaza in front of the hotel with a big playground, also several options for restaurants, the included breakfast was great with all the options you can expect and more. I particularly would like to say thanks to the concierge team that gave us tips and solve the problem with Expedia reservation. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed expedia has not transferred the reservation to their system. They asked us to wait while their team contact Expedia and solved the problems. We were thankful, they were proactive and did not just threw the problems on our hands. Expedia on the webchat want us to talk to a relocation team. The hotel solved the issue before Expedia team was even able to contact us by phone. Definitely we would recommend this hotel for other families wanting to explore Barcelona.

Initially put in a connecting room with a young family that was not conducive to business travel. The room was loud past 11pm and I had to ask to change rooms. I was again put into a connecting room with single beds when I had requested a double. The worst part of the trip was the lift system. It simply does not work if the hotel is any way busy. The lifts would tell you that they would arrive in 2 mins. 2 mins later when still waiting it would say 3 mins. 4 lifts for a hotel of 20+ stories is crazy. It meant I had to walk 13 stories of stairs up and down on multiple occasions. The staff were rude and unhelpful about this, it seems to be the norm for them to deal with. Avoidable and not what you would expect from a Hilton that likely has most of the year booked out. Not a good experience.

This is an amazing hotel with great position near shopping mall and metro station. The staff are always very helpful. The breakfast is definitely worth including in your stay as has a massive choice. The pool area with music made such a cool setting. We stayed with 2 young children and they loved the pool. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Rooms were very clean and we loved every minute of it. 👍👍👍

Nice hotell. I expected a better service/overwiev showing activities and sports for families. The beach in the area needs cleaning.

One of the orst experiences I ever had in a hotel. I had 2 rooms for my family in floors 9 and 12, the hotel was very busy and there was only one lift out of 4 working and not very well. The personnel at the hotel did not care at all about the situation and only told us to file a complaint. I was waiting with my kids for more than an hour to go up and down with huge queues. Going out of my floor was even more difficult. I felt like I was kidnapped, and could not go anywhere. Desperating and frurstrating situation, and we missed our train back home due to being waiting to get out of the hotel with the bags!

Great location for the family.

We had an amazing time. The location was perfect. The room was perfect. The staff immediately told me I’m family now. I loved the prompt caring attitudes of all the staff. You all made my first time to Spain a dream come true.

First trip abroad since covid and first just met and children. Felt completely at ease by lovely staff. Room clean and suited our needs perfectly. Sea view as requested. Great breakfast and service in executive lounge. Pool staff attentive and we really enjoyed the pool atmosphere. Glad to be able to walk to the beach too.
