Great location and the kids loved the pool. However the rooms were quite small, the carpets in the room and the corridors were dirty. The towels that were provided for the pool could not be sent to be cleaned daily, you supposed to keep them for the time you stay in the hotel whether it's 1 day or 5...

We expected a better experience than this. We had booked a hotel in Portugal but due to Covid restrictions we had to cancel. This was meant to be a special treat for me, as I was celebrating my birthday with my family. I booked a family room as described in Hotels.com website. When we arrived we were told that the room didn’t exist??? We were given 2 interconnecting rooms, which was not what I booked. We would have been better off booking an apartment .The rooms were very tired. The curtains had a cigarette burn despite it being a non smoking room. The curtains were not attached at the ends and the bed made a lot of squeaky noises every time you turned over. The toilets had no toilet brushes which was very odd? The bath plug was broken and was very difficult to remove. My wife who had booked this hotel mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday as asked in the booking form if there was any special requests. But nothing was mentioned!!’ The hotel we had to cancel on the other-hand were very enthusiastic that they would make it special for us. The whole experience was lackluster. The breakfast was not very good on the hot food side as you would expect the food to be hot.
