Hotel Puerta de Bilbao

We didn’t really get to see a lot of the Bilbao as it was an overnight stay prior to getting on the ferry, however was in a good location with friendly staff and the pool was a hit With the kids! Also has underground parking which was great!

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff most of whom spoke French, Spanish and English. The family room was comfortable and spacious with a sofa bed suitable for a child. The bathroom was large with both a bath and separate shower. It is located a few kilometres from Bilbao but excellent transport links straight into the town and many large shops within walking distance. The breakfast was buffet style and had a huge variety of cooked and continental foods with gluten free options and alternative milk too. The restaurant in the evening was also excellent and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.
