Carema Beach Menorca

Enjoyed a week at Caremar beach staying in a duplex apartment. The apartment was a good size for a family of 4 and was clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff, decent pool and the pool area was clean and safe. Direct access to the beach which was good for families and therefore pretty busy every day. Breakfast buffet was decent with plenty of choice.

We were a party of ten adults, mostly couples. From arrival to departure I can only say good things about his hotel. Very good and efficient check in. Got escorted to the room where we found everything to be in Good order and clean. We had a mini suite type room with Kitchenette / living room and separate bedroom. Everything we could need was there. Good clean shower room with drench type shower head. Swimming pool area was of good size with a kids area. plenty of sun beds. Good pool bar with restaurant attached. We didn’t eat there but the food did look fine and it was fairly busy all the time so I can only assume it was indeed good food. It has a gate and very short path leading to a beautiful golden sand beach in a cove of sorts. Lots of sun beds ( to be paid for ) and a couple of beach bars. A short stroll away is the marina which has many many bars and restaurants. Food quality of the local restaurants was average, not bad but certainly we didn’t find anywhere to write home about ! Lots of supermarkets around to buy whatever supplies you want. All in all the hotel is 5 out of 5 for sure. The surrounding area 4.5. Lovely place , will likely go back some time

Apparently hotel is recently remodeled and it is nice, but there are issues. AC did not work in our first room, after poor service from the evening front desk team, we were offered to move by the manager the next day. New room was not quite as nice and AC barely worked. WiFi was very, very sporadic and did not work in the room most of the time. Room cleaning service was also very poor. Breakfast was good but with very little Menorca flavor. Location of hotel is great, but Cala n Bosch marina area is way too touristy for our taste. Ok for families but not for a romantic couples getaway.
