The hotel amenities (pool area) are good, as depicted in the description. The entertainment at night was also good for the kids. The food was really bad quality, greasy, chicken and pork were cold, salmon fillets were dry and tasted bad, the cod was unetable, the pastry was superartificial. nothing good to say of the restaurant. avoid at all cost. Also you must pay for the filtered tap water (1.80 euros per 750mL) The food ruin our experience whcih otherwise would have been good. It is not a fancy buffet, its cheap cafeteria food sold at very expensive price.

We had a great family holiday here, the food was great, and the room comfortable. The swimming pool and access to the beach is great. The hotel is a little dated and could use some improvements to make it more modern.

Dated but mostly functional rooms, WiFi is unusable in the rooms as signal is so weak, had to go to reception to download kindle book which needs very little. No kettle in room which surprised me for 4 star, good spacious bathroom, good hotel for kids, but the extremely loud hotel ‘entertainment’ on in the open air until midnight every night got a bit grating especially as my room was very close to it.

We had an excellent holiday and the facilities and staff could not be faulted as far as we were concerned, however our holiday was marred by the treatment some guests received over the Thomas Cook collapse. Although the hotel was assured by the caa that they would get paid, the hotel was demanding a further payment from guests or they were locked out of their rooms. We had direct experience of a young family who had to pay £600 and 2 other couples one of whom was disabled who had to spend at least one night on a sofa in reception

Nice place to enjoy with your family and friends. It has a really good pool and you can easily access the beach from the hotel.

Playacapricho has all the ingredients of a good resort. Nice rooms, dining area, bar and cafe, entertainment, directly located at the beach, a indoor swimming pool and off course a big swimming outside with a slide for the kids and a whirlpool.
Because a was traveling alone this time, a had a single room with balcony with 2 chairs and a table with sea view. Because I was on the third floor, my sea view was partially blocked by the more expensive apartment rooms on the other side of the swimming pool.
The room was very nice, clean (no dust whatsoever) and had everything necessary for a single traveller. Nice bed, fridge, TV, closet and bathroom with shower. Too bad not a tube.
The lobby of the hotel is also very clean and green looking, with plants growing everywhere and ponds to finish it. But I was there in October and the ponds where empty.
The people behind the reception speak good English.
The swimming pool itself looked a little outdated with some missing tiles on the bottom of the floor, but it was very clean. And along the side of the pool there were enough sunbeds.
Breakfast is from 08:00 till 10:30, lunch from 13:00 till 15:30 and dinner from 20:00 till 22:30. And with half pension you can switch lunch with dinner.
Because I self-had half pension I can only rate the breakfast and dinner and they were all right. Only really buffet style. And the only downside for me was, I still had to pay for me drinks at dinner, because that was not included with half pension.
