Mariposa Hotel Malaga

Staff was great - very friendly and helpful! We liked that it was a short and easy walk to the city center, and located on a side street in a quite neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Good walking access to Old Town. Very noisy community children's daycare adjacent to rooms in the building rear.

Excellent hotel. Everything was really nice. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was wonderful.

This is without doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 4 nights the week before Easter in room 201 which is a junior suite consisting of a larger than average bedroom with king size bed and a good size lounge area furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchair and desk. There is a large modern TV and a coffee machine, safe, mini bar and hairdryer. The bathroom is larger than average and it is equipped with a bath/shower (which was excellent) and a bidet. Plenty of good size and quality towels together with slippers and robes. The room overlooked a quiet, semi pedestrianised street. It was nice to be able to leave windows open all night with no noise or security issues. Breakfast was of good quality and served in a pleasant dining area. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is situated a pleasant 10 minute walk from the cathedral at the centre of the historic old town and all main attractions are within easy walking distance. There are several excellent restaurants and bars within close proximity to the hotel. A taxi ride to the airport took only 10 minutes. The train station is only 15 minutes away on foot..
