Hotel Bahía Tropical

I just liked that the hotel was right in front of the beach and staff was very friendly. I guess it's ok for families with kids. Was too noisy at night. Would not recommend for people that want to relax or looking to have some peace. Breakfast is poor, although dinner was good.. the AC was not working.. you pay for parking space as well.. Even though I had a good time with my family and place is pretty decent, honestly would not stay again at the same hotel.

Last night had very noisy Zumba class for children At about 22:45. This morning even noisier aquaaerobics class in main pool. No sunchairs left available. Food was mediocre at best Gave up on last night and went to eat out which was much better. Would not go there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised by communal areas for sitting, they were everywhere, little cosy hidden nooks with sofas on every floor. Didnt like bar atmosphere; very stuffy and airless. Dining room enormous, good linen, varied and changeable choices of food, lack of sliced type fruit at breakfast, just whole fruit and no omlettes or pancakes making like most hotels do to order. Room dated and not very comfy beds though good sized for singles. Sofa in room was good. Furniture and decor dated. We asked for a quiet room and it was quite noisy; work men during day and kids running around at night. Bathroom could have done with some bleach around the grouting. In a lovely area with a v. pleasant bar/restaurant next to sea half a km.away for a walk to sit listening to the sea with a late night decaf. Bus service stops nearby, some quite steep slopes for walking far. We were in car and easy free parking outside except Holy Week and July plus August when it is pay meters.

Rooms are not really a family room as we were expecting but they used sofa bed for the children , very uncomfortable . The hotel is very short of staff The food is very limited and very poor in quality epically if you paid for full-board The quantity of the food is very poor and limited and people had to wait long time to get another dish brought from the kitchen , hence there were very very very long lines with each meal Even getting a drinks during breakfast , there were always long lines due to the poor old ancient single drinks machine not to mention about the poor quality of drinks The beds besides the pool are never enough for the number of the residents Very poor level of entertainment

The hotel in general ok, but other visitors are not always pleasant. Many families with children.
