Shinhwa Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel & Resorts

Don’t get me wrong, the facilities were nice and clean, but we had a horrible time at this resort. We booked it with the intention of having a lot of outlets for our 4 year old to play. When we arrived, we were told we had to reserve one of three three hour spots for the outdoor heated pool. Once you enter, you can’t exit. If you choose the first time slot, you can’t go to the water park at all because it doesn’t open until the second time slot. No restaurants open until noon but the second time slot opens at noon. So you either lose time at the pool to eat lunch or go to the pool but then you have to wait for the pool restaurant to open at 2 to eat. So my 4 year old, who wakes up at 7am, had nothing to do until noon and had to wait until 2 to eat lunch and couldn’t leave the pool for any reason or we were done for the day. This makes zero sense. I complained about it and they didn’t care. They gave me additional theme park entrance cards but guess what—the cards have a limit of three rides and my son was too short for most of the rides. So we were done in about 30 minutes there. Our son couldn’t do the kids club because he’s not a native speaker. I completely regret staying there. If you’re a foreigner, you should definitely choose a different location and explore the island more.

The place was beautiful. understandable lots kids goes with lots noise. The hotel turned off air conditioner because the weather was cooler. But with sunlight beating down to room, the room temperature was 80 plus and stuffy. Front desk told me to open the window, but very noisy. I was very disappointing.

Thank you for providing a precious time. All staffs are very kind and nice. Since we have a child who is a birthday staying here, we ask to arrange a birthday cake to delive when we have a dinner at the dinning. They offer us some plan more than we expect. In addition, a mannager sent a birthday card to my girl and staffs arranged our room with some chocolates and a cute dall. We were so moved! Room and sky pool are nice. There is in a Shinwa world place, it's easy to access to Shinwa world park and water park. We got a discount ticket for it from the hotel. Totally nice to stay. Great location for family vacation, although not all facilities can be accessed during winter times.

Really clean, friendly, have a lot of things for kids, but something ONLY FOR KOREAN!!!! Don’t know why like that……
