This hotel had a clean room and the interior was fair. Unfortunately it is situated in amongst an industrial area with chimneys, factories and despite the ocean being in front of the hotel, the water was so polluted there was no smell of the ocean! On arrival, we were charged again for our 2 children for the two nights, but we had already made additional costs for extra guests in the overall payment to Expedia. It should be obvious that a room with 2 double beds and the 2 extra guests being children that it was a family who had made the booking. When we questioned the extra payment he said it was a hotel policy and we couldn't argue because on the receipt of payment it does state that guests may have to accept extra hotel policies. If we had of known this we would have booked somewhere else in the first place with the extra money! It then did not feel like a special offer as Expedia claimed. The first male staff that we met on arrival was not at all friendly, he did not greet us or welcome us to the hotel Very unprofessional and left a bad feeling with us from the start. We asked for the room beds to be made up for the second night when we went out for the day but when we returned they had just pulled up the covers. New towels, shampoo and conditioner were not provided for the second nights stay. We asked to have the underfloor heating turned off and they turned it up making our room 37C. This was very uncomfortable to sleep in.
