Submit a request for housekeeping, they did not come as we assumed it was standard practice. They will ask for date and time to service. We had to call a few times to confirm. Maybe a first in staying at a hotel for not being an automatic and standard practice or at least it has been a long time. Same for breakfast. You have to reserve one of the time slots and pre-pay. Maybe you can just show up and pay and eat but not sure. Typically that is the case for other hotel breakfast and they bill to your room but does not seem to be the case here. Great buffet, plenty of options. Made to order noodles and vegetables. But a strict adherence to the time slot and you have to depart at the end of it, only about an hour and 15 min so get there at start time. It was 7am to 8:20 and 9am to 10:20, roughly the time slots. Swimming pool is not included and is expensive. A lot for kids to play and a jacuzzi. It is called Ocean Play. There is an indoor spa area segregated by sex. Specific rules with the swimming pool, cannot use spa towels with main swimming pool. Strict adherence to no shoes past locker room entrance. Limited personal belongings in pool area for some reason. They don't bother you about masks in locker room or swimming areas. We arrived late and the hotel front desk had given away our room so we received a room in a lower level in a different tower. Cannot compare the two but assume it was a degrade. Hotel is close to the Mt. Seoraksan national park for walking/hiking, etc.

Information incorrect on Hotels.com, this is no way near entrance of Seoraksan National park. 20-25 min away with taxi. Rooms are really nice, spacious at good price. But we booked family room for four, yet breakfast for two was included (additional 30,000 won per person) and we never managed to get towels for us all. Everything at the hotel is super expensive, outdoor pool 40,000 won per person is ridiculous! The rain was pouring down so we tried to find food at the hotel, our choice was either to pay 25,000 won for fried chicken or wait one hour for noodles (available tables but only one person working). Staff has hardly any English skills, very difficult to get help. Beautiful surroundings, but don't go there if you are an international visitor interested in hiking! We were relieved to leave...
