We booked a few days at this hotel whilst in mahe with our six month old baby. We wanted to properly relax, surf and enjoy a bit of luxury. We normally stay at more boutique, independent properties but were attracted by the surf break, and the convenience as it was our first holiday with the babe. First, the good stuff: the beach is truly beautiful and they did well to not build to the shoreline, so you get a tropical

We stayed at the Kempinski for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach lined with palm trees as well as the large swimming pool (with a lifeguard) and extensive property. Every night we enjoyed live music in the lounge and dinner on the beachfront restaurant. The rooms were large with balconies, separate living room area, and modern bathrooms. The staff were friendly and attentive. The Kids Club offered a place for children to play and had a verity of activities. A wonderful resort!

Great hotel very kind staff , all was great, all requests was just yes ! We where upgraded with no extra fee , great rooms , best view, friendly staff great place to go with kids !!

Excellent kids club and kids minders, great beach service guys, beach cafe (Windsong) tasty but very expensive and no whole grilled fish, reception bar - good musical groups every night but some nights exceptionally slow service and drinks quite expensive, breakfast buffet tasty and filling, beach front amenities complete but sometimes difficult to check out, an only passable Padi dive center attached, great turtle feeding for the kids, our 9 year old daughter could roam freely without our concern for her safety, one excellent restaurant (Maria's Rock Cafe) with decent prices within walking distance, very good beach and mostly private location.
