Hotel Gradina Morii

I have been visiting this place for almost 8 years. The property, people and food always impress me to visit them again and again. Dan, the GM is a wine connoisseur who helped me with new Dealu Mare wine every night for a week. The room they provided us was one of the largest in the hotel with rustic wooden beams go through the ceiling and the inclined windows made the room look charming. The Opera night for a week was an added attraction that local well-to-do's dined to just listen to tenors and the sopranos. The outdoor garden gratar (Romanian for BBQ/ oven) came in handy for delicious Pizzas and other meat dishes. The property is located on the slopes of Solovan beside the river Iza. A morning walk along the banks or just a stroll with the children is memorable. Waiting for my next visit to Sighetu Marmatiei.
