Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas

This resort is what a great resort should be. Rooms are large with all the facilities. Highly recommend for those with children. Only an hour from the airport and roughly 200QAR by Taxi. The waterpark is great for all ages, they supply life jackets for all ages at both the waterpark and at the resort. The buffet breakfast and dinners were fantastic, lots of choice for all ages. Highly recommend this resort.

Had a 4 day stopover travelling from Australia to Europe. Beautiful resort on a private beach with 2 lovely outdoor pools and an amazingly fun waterpark. Staff were very professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and we had a great view of the beach. My children are already asking when we can come back again. Highly recommend.

Not crowded, perfectly maintained resort. Great option for a stay with smaller and bigger kids.

Very lovely hotel with great food options in the buffet. There is the waterpark that you get as inclusive which was great for the kids (and the adults). It was clean, and absolutely no issues. Would book again.

Beautiful resort for a family vacation with amazing views and personnel. I would highly recommend it because of exotic spa and a lot of activities for kids and teens. Beaches and pools are very clean and well equipped. This hotel is the best one I stayed so far in the Middle East. I would say it’s the 6 star not 5 star hotel!

Great facility and the kids enjoyed the water park. I would recommend it to others with little ones. The manager was very helpful.

We (2 adults 2 young children) stayed for 7 days half board over Easter. The resort was quiet with limited facilities due to Ramadan, with pools closed and no service at the open pool for drinks etc. This was disappointing especially as we were not told in advance. The food was mainly in the Souk Kitchen was a buffet for breakfast and a good range of international cuisine for dinner - juices were included but no 'premium' soft drinks. We also ate at the Levantine restaurant - this was also a buffet with a range of Arabian signature dishes. Lunch options were limited and expensive - and this seemed worse given outlets closed due to Ramadan. The north pool was open, a decent size and not too busy. We spent much of the time around the pool. The pool had lots of mosaic tiles missing, some with short edges, so was not in great condition for the age. The loungers were also a bit tatty and stained. The hotel itself and rooms were in excellent condition, and the hotel was grand. Beds were super comfortable and service was generally excellent. The rooms were clean and kept clean daily, and we appreciated the turn down service. The other upside was the onsite water park that the kids enjoyed - accessed from the hotel with no additional charge. A good range of slides and attractions that suit all tastes...

Beautiful property and great, attentive staff. We had a wonderful stay! The attached waterpark was a favorite with our kids.

Great place for a weekend away. And the water park makes it perfect for families. Good choice of restaurants. Good breakfast.
