We booked two rooms, one for our teenage children and one for us. We paid $150 Euro ($480) more for our room then our children to have a "river view". Our teens room was larger, updated and had the same view for only $329. Our carpet was dated and bathroom was much smaller than theres. The best aspect about the hotel was location and friendliness of staff (even though restaurant they sent us to was closed). But the customer service was not worth almost $500 a night.

Such a lovely experience here at the Pestana for our family. We were greeted by the hotel team onsite, and shown directly to our room. It was very welcoming and a wonderful environment. We hope to book again next year!
