This is a new, quite unique hotel. A refurbished property that used to be a soap factory, it occupies a stunning location along the Douro River. The riverside rooms have panoramic views, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are well done and staged in a dining area with amazing indoor and outdoor views. Terrific place, especially for families.

A very nice hotel, quiet, with a nice river view. 5 minutes in car to the centre. I will definitely come back. My kids and I had a marvelous stay.
