Holiday Inn Lisbon, an IHG Hotel

In advance of booking I was assured there would be vegan options for breakfast in particular pastries. This was not the case when we arrived. Also at the time of booking we were not made aware of building works outside the hotel and our room was opposite the works and the noise was relentless during the daytime which made it difficult with an 18 month old baby

Stayed with family for three days , two rooms . Nice family oriented clean hotel 10 minutes away from commerce square by car. Construction going on next to the hotel start at 9 AM though. Friendly staff , reasonable breakfast . Would consider for our future trips

Overall excellent choice for our family of 4. The kids loved the pool, the adults loved relaxing at the rooftop bar. This was amazing to have for those moments where we were too tired to venture out or just wanted to relax. Pros: Location very close to many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highlight was the rooftop pool and bar with gorgeous views of the city. Buffet breakfast was amazing and had many options for our picky family. It was the same every day which could get tiring but we filled up each morning. Service was mostly excellent. Cons: The walls were thin so could hear other (loud) guests. Found a silverfish in the bathroom after room was serviced. Rooms were compact/small for a family of 4 plus luggage. Wifi was only reliable in the lobby and rooftop and would disconnect in our room except for sometimes connecting from the bathroom. Frustrating as we used up our limited data fast!

This hotel was very good value and nice! My family loved the pool and the breakfast! The location is close to the airport and about an 8 minute walk to Saldana and Alameda stations. There is also a bus station just a hop and a skip away from hotel that you can take to Cais do Sodre and Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara. The hotel is in very good condition, the only issue was that the AC in our room did not work properly. The middle setting was barely running and when we increased the setting the machine was very loud and cranky. You can hear people in other rooms or passing by, but it’s not too distracting. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

There were many things that went wrong over our short 24 hour stay which made this extremely disappointing especially for the price and the reputation of the Hilton. Our TV and fridge didn’t work, we had bought food for our plane the next day which all went bad because we couldn’t refrigerate it. We called down and someone came up to try to fix it but he was unable to, they apologized but didn’t seem to really care enough to make it right. We also called down to change our pillows and were told someone would come bring us pillows but they never did. Will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room is also incredibly small, and the walls are paper thin so it felt like we were living with the neighbours’ kids. The AC also wasn’t cold enough, but it was fine because we opened the windows and luckily it was a cool night.

Breakfast was amazing and definetly worth including they had everything and it was all freah and well stocked, hotel was clean and staff were polite and helpful would recommend and stay again. Family of 4 (2 adults 2xhildren in a family room) good size room and beds were very comfortable. Great night sleep was very quiet. Location is great we got a meteo from the airport to station a few mins walk away from the hotel, first ime in Lisbon but hopefully we will be back loved it.

Big family room and in a nice area

We arrived to the hotel and our room wasn’t ready so they ask me to wait and I said no problem even my wife is 5 month pregnant but we end up waiting for 25 minutes, my wife call the receptionist to ask them that we don’t have slippers in the room they said we only give them to the executive I have stayed all over the world and they always proved customers in the room with slippers I went downstairs to speak to the supervisor and he didn’t help and didn’t care at all even I have told him that my wife she can’t walk in the room with trainers as she is 5 month pregnant And his answer was you can complain tomorrow to the manager I have never had experience like this in my life and even morning breakfast the hot food was cold not in the right temperature and that s dangerous for health and safety so we end up having just coffee and sweet because my wife pregnant and I can’t put her and my child in danger I will never ever go back there specially when you paid lots of money and you get no help from anyone

Old rooms. Would not recommend to a family with kids.
