Carvi Beach Hotel

Great location adjacent to the beach and the boardwalk that runs along the top of the beach side cliffs. Great hotel breakfast and beautiful roof top restaurant location. Historic downtown Lagos was a very short drive and parking was easy. We had a family of 4 and our room was very comfortable (Queen 2 twin beds). We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the Carvi Beach Hotel. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. Location is perfection! Easy to walk into town, easy to walk along all the beautiful beaches. I had a beautiful view of the ocean from my balcony. Beautiful rooftop pool & the beautiful Luca’s rooftop restaurant, what more could you ask for. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to stay here. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and cozy, the staff were all so helpful, friendly, kind and accommodating. We loved the breakfast and the beautiful restaurant that overlooks the beach. Parking was so convenient and free. It is walking distance to the old town and there is a grocery and laundromat nearby as well. We loved how it was just steps away from the beach and the beautiful walking path to ponta da piedade. I would recommend taking an early walk on this pathway, the views are absolutely breathtaking and so calming and peaceful. Our stay at this hotel made our trip even more memorable. We cannot wait to go back!

We had a fabulous visit here escaping the cold of Canada in March. We booked a junior suite which was very comfortable and lived up to our expectations. A fridge and kettle are supplied with the rooms. The floor to ceiling windows gave fabulous views of the ocean and the farmland across the way.. Breakfast was included with accommodation and was a variety of hot and cold foods including meat and cheese and various breads and lots of fresh and canned fruit. We were very pleased with it, and also to eat in the delightful dining room on the top floor of the hotel - again with great views. The staff were so very helpful. This includes all staff - from the front desk, the dining room (breakfast and evening) and the lovely ladies that cleaned our room every day. The hotel is located up from the beach Praia Dona Ana and you do need to be able to climb up and down 94 steps to get there. We rented a car for our visit and lots of free parking was available (maybe not so much in the busy season). It was a short drive to Lagos. There are many walks around the hotel which do require a fair amount of mobility. There are many places to visit within an hour's drive. We also booked a day trip to Lisbon with hotel pick up and drop off. The amount of restaurants in Lagos is mind boggling and lots of fun. The Saturday market is also great to visit.
