São Rafael Suite Hotel

We had an amazing stay at hotel. Very friendly staff. We had the family delux sea view room. Very spacious, very comfortable beds. Amazing view. Buffet meals were very good

First of all its a nice hotel with friendly staff. we had a family room because we were 4 persons. the room was spacious and nice. There are two bigger pools and one baby pool. You’re walking like 5-10 minutes to the beach. the sunbeds and umbrellas you have to pay there extra. There was no activity whatsowver for our children, theres just a kids club for smaller children. The food was OK, not big variety snd everyday the SAME. Albufeira city is not so near, with uber approximatrly 4-7€ depending on the time. Its a nice hotel but we would go there again.

This is not a 5-star property. It’s a 3 star property. No proper gym at an all inclusive resort! The night entertainment is non existent and not an ideal place for children to keep them entertained. There is no room service after 11 pm and before that you get charged extra/higher priced menu for room delivery (never seen this before let alone in an all inclusive resort). Staff is average at the best and house keeping isn’t good. Find the advertisement on this property misleading. Good location though.

Went with daughter and 2yr old granddaughter for a short break to get the sun.Arranged a private transfer only 40 minutes from airport.All inclusive was ideal for trying the good variety of food.Had staples of pizza and chips but had great local seafood and salads for a healthier option.It was great that our suite was a living room and a large bedroom with en suite shower above bath-great for a toddler .so she could go to bed and we could enjoy watching TV with a glass of wine. Safe in room but no coffee/tea making facilities which I missed because often up at 6 and breakfast didn’t start till 7! Children’s pool was ideal.I missed a gym. Lovely area to walk around and not far from a small beach and 5 mins taxi to marina or 10 mins to old town and large lovely beach Would certainly return

Great atmosphere, lots to keep the kids busy. The shuttle was really handy to get into town. The staff were very helpful

We had a short stopover at this hotel. From the front the building perhaps doesn't look that great but the garden and pool area is beautiful. From the outdoor balcony upstairs you have sea views. The hotel is in a quiet area with a short walk to the nearest beach. Well worth a visit for couples and families.

The hotel is ok. With a 5* rating I was expecting a lot more luxury for my money, though the price was reasonable. The hotel is neat, the furniture not particularly bad but the hotel is nothing compared to other 5* hotels I have stayed in the US, Asia and Europe. The hotel is however good for families with kids. My minor complaints were the outdoor pools were never heated which is not ideal for kids and the hotel room cleaners were at best average. Would I stay there again ? Possibly if it cheap.

An excellent choice. Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Spotless pools. Breakfasts very good, with wide choice. Sao Raphael beach is lovely and about a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. Shuttle bus service from hotel to beach very handy if you have young kids. Only down side...a touch isolated. Quite a hike to either the marina or the nearest cash machine and choice of eateries outside of the hotel rather limited without either a long walk or taxi ride. Overall though, a great visit for a week.

The family really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay there again! Only dissappointing aspect was the hotel menu (no childrens meals) and the cost of eating in.
