Hotel Praia Marina

We stayed here twice now. We booked this property 6 months in advance and the morning we arrived around 9:30 am they took our information and were going to let us know when our rooms were ready. About 11:00 am I get a email from Expedia, not the hotel that they could not accommodate one of our ocean facing rooms. I not only booked 6 months in advanced but they only offered a tiny room with one chair facing the back of the hotel alley. I received only 80 euro back after paying full price on an oceanfront room, only after I pushed the issue. I ask the Manager why. She claimed it was a computer error. So I said we are here early enough why can you accommodate us and kick somebody else out of there room. Our other family members only paid $500. for the same room they were accommodating us with, but only gave us $80 euro back. Not a fare deal and why the morning we check in? Other than that the stay was good, hotel could use some updating though. We will probably look into another location next time we stay in Teiceira Azores.

Portuguese hospitality at its finest. My family were made to feel so welcome here. The balcony on the family room was huge and the rooms were immaculately clean. The best thing was the staff here, so kind and hospitable and really went out of their way in a big way to make us feel at home here. Would highly, highly recommend staying here. Best hotel on the island and best service!

We stayed her one night due to a layover. This hotel is conveniently located close to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the space we had for our family of 4. Both kids had individual cots and we had a beautiful king bed. The only complaint was ants, we found an issue with ants on one of the window sills and floor near the bathroom. Overall, for the price it was a great stay.
