Novotel Krakow City West

Great hotel with everything you need. Good variety in breakfast, access to pool for both big and small, easy with nearby public transportation, restaurant if needed. The small things that didn't work, the staff was quick to get fixed. Two adults and two kids really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 in 1 room. 2 youths and 2 adults. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage whilst we went off to explore the old town. The staff were very helpful. The room was perfect for our needs however was very hot so we had to open the window to get some air, thus then made the noise from outside very obvious. We had an early tour booked for a 5:55am pick up and the hotel provided a breakfast box. The hotel is good location from airport and old town. We used Uber to get around.

Rooms are quite big, big shower and separate toilet very handy when you travel with kids. Small ketle wasn't working properly. Swimming pool small but deep 2.5m . Very good breakfast. Not free parking!

The receptionist was unfriendly, the kids bed, intended for a 11 year old and a 13 year old was 120 cm wide. It did not work!

Air condition didn’t work. Parking is an extra fee. Very small room for four people. Cot for a kid is an extra $40USD? Customer service very mediocre. Food, below average. Not impressed.

Very nice hotel about 25 mins from the airport. Staff was nice, check in was smooth. Room was nice for 2 adults and a child. Best one I’ve been in since moving to Europe.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located between airport and city. I liked everything but good seems to run out when you are late for breakfast. It's was also good for kids with activities.

Overall the hotel was good but there were a number of negatives that would prevent us from going back or referring it to others. 1 - The bathroom in our room smelled of urine/body odor. 2 - We had a 2 night stay and the pool was closed the 2nd day we were there (Saturday night). For maintenance, they should schedule this on a less-busy weekday. The pool was a selling feature for us with our kids. 3 - We prepaid for breakfast and the 2nd day there were no omelets (advertised on every poster in the hotel), no fresh juice and alot of the food wasn't put out. We had to request pancakes and honey, which they did bring to us but they were intended to be on the breakfast bar. The space was just empty. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they said we may have arrived too late for these items but we arrived at 7am (breakfast opens at 6:30). When I told the front desk this, they said 'maybe they hadn't finished setting up yet then'. Either way, it was unsatisfactory especially for the amount we were paying. 4 - The playstation wasn't working. Granted the front desk spent time fixing it, which we appreciated, but it was a good 30-45 minutes of just waiting. If that is a main staple in the lobby advertised for the kids they should ensure it is up and running. The potential is there and maybe we just hit it on a bad weekend but we were bummed with our experience.

Nice, quiet location, with big beds. Hotel is only a 2km from historic center, but is good hike. They have a free shuttle, but buses may not be marked as serving the Novotel. Taxi is $6 from Wawel. Desk loaned a cable to connect to internet. No ice machine. Surprised to see parking was not free (about $11/day). Thought breakfast was included, but only for children. Located in a safe and easy to get to part of town.
