Galaxy Hotel

Enjoyed our stay at Galaxy Hotel, Krakow. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning had lots of choice. Would return ourselves and recommend to friends and family.

This was a family trip with my 6 year old son and elderly mother. The staff were ok at check in however later on our arrival day the staff were absolutely unprofessional, treated us like they didn’t think we should have been guests. I had asked for some milk for my son (a cup/glass) and was given various responses and finally that it was not included in the amenities. However, if that was the case, why would they put coffee/tea in the room with a kettle? On day 2, we left for our tour early morning and on return after a long day, the room was attended by housekeeping as they changed the floor towel in bathroom however did not tidy up the room or provided some new towels. I took a picture and showed to the receptionist staff and they had to get someone to go and tidy up the room. Generally, it’s not a place I’d recommend to anyone! The staff were rude and discriminated against me and my family. They should put on their website “white European/white Other” only! Absolutely horrible accommodation and I was truly disappointed!

Hotel in a great location, very clean and comfortable. We have a baby and I have to admit that the hotel is very family friendly. The only downside is lack of smile. All the staff are polite and helpful but they never ever smile

Excellent hotel with everything you need. The small swimming pool, sauna and steam room are included in the price and is a great way to chill after a day sightseeing. We only paid for bed and breakfast but were impressed with the quality and taste of what was available. Ask for an omelette to be made, delicious! Irons and ironing boards are available for free and are brought up immediately and left with you for approx 30 mins. Room service was great and two bottle of water were left each day. A free safe is available inside the wardrobe. There was only 3 English TV channels (which were news channels) which was a shame, as it's sometimes nice to unwind at night with something on TV, but that was the only negative I can find. If this was right in the city center it would be perfect, but as it's only a couple of pound in a taxi, it wasn't an issue. Would recommend to anyone with a family or on business.
