Seda Lio

Top notch resort! Really luxury and relaxing with play room for our 7 month baby and perfect condition for swimming, both in the see and in the pool! Potential improvement on the restaurant service, catching up allergies:)

•This property is very large and sprawling. Architecturally, it is impressive to see. Multiple levels, open air and nicely kept grounds. Tile halls could be swept or mopped. •The Seda beach area is very beautiful with distant scenery and sunsets. Hotel rents kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, lifejackets etc., and has buoy markers for snorkeling. Part time beach lifeguard. •The bedrooms are quiet and well equipped. The room a/c work well but the bed comforter is almost too thick and a sheet would work •The gym has very nice equipment, 3 large treadmills, and a yoga type of room attached. •The pools are very beautiful to see and a good venue area, HOWEVER, they are not usable. The longest pool is .5m deep (2ft). Possibly its the kids pool. The other pool is about 1.2m deep (4ft) ** The pools are not clean. Maybe a filter problem but literally so dirty with floating debris. •The Seda hotel is a 10min walk down the beach to Lio beach with little shops and eateries. The buffets are delicious with many filipino dishes to try. The food carvings are impressive. They try to cater to a large audience but island locations have limits. The bacon cheeseburger was very terrible. Another guest I met made the same comment a day later. This is only surprising because Bacolod Seda had one of the most delicious cheeseburgers. Different locations should maybe adjust menus. •Distance to El Nido is far. Parking onsite or walk to Lio beach and catch the free a/c bus into town.

The Seda Lio is a really beautiful hotel directly at a beautiful natural beach with trees for natural shadow which is much better than the shadow made by umbrellas. The complete building is very nice including the pool, the restaurant, the lobby, the gym, the spa area and the garden. Also our room was very nice with much space and a clean bathroom. The breakfast was included so we used it daily. It is a good breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices. You have boiled eggs, sunny side ups and scrambled eggs which are cooked in advance and can be taken from the buffet. Additionally there is a chef who is cooking you fresh omelettes. They offer fresh plain yoghurt or with fruits. Also fresh bread, different cheeses and fruits are available. Additionally there are some warm offerings like sausages, fries chicken and other stuff. When you have this breakfast daily it is getting a little bit boring but you it is a good buffet. Unfortunately the service is a little bit slow and unprofessional. The employees really have no self motivation. A real leader seems to be missing. One example: After arriving at the airport of El Nido all passengers of the flight were picked up by their hotels in time. Only a family and us were forgotten by the employees of Seda Lio. Since there are not so many landings per day and Seda Lio is locates less than 10 minutes away from the airport it should not be very hard to be in time. The WiFi is not nearly good enough for such a hotel. No WiFi in
