Summit Hotel Tacloban

Probably the best hotel in town. Nothing to complain about pretty good food. Oh4:00 peso to eat breakfast pools call to me children but that’s about it and overall can’t complain.

The staff never cleaned my room. I was there 5 days. The pool is full of too many kids. They put Christmas cookies in some rooms not mine. Just make sure they clean your room. It’s next to the mall. This hotel is owned by Robinson Mall.

we are a family of 3 and stayed for 4 nights at summit hotel tacloban from 18 may to 22 may the negatives: ⁃ on arrival the check in process was extremely slow ⁃ when we arrived in the room the belongings of the previous guests were still in the room ⁃ king bed was just 2 single beds pushed together ⁃ limited toiletries ⁃ room/ toilet was not clean ⁃ towels provided were stained ⁃ breakfast options were limited. only spam, hotdog and longanisa was served for breakfast. service is very slow ⁃ kept running out of toilet paper and they would only give us 1 roll at a time even though there were 3 people in our room ⁃ bathroom tile fell off and shattered on the ground while i was using the toilet ⁃ no keycard required to get into the hotel floors, which is a safety concern ⁃ room doesn’t get cleaned unless you explicitly ask for it to be cleaned ⁃ although the hotel is right next door to shopping centre, it doesn’t open until 10am. unable to find any cafes / breakfast places in the morning close by ⁃ extremely understaffed the positives: ⁃ location is close by to department store ⁃ friendly staff
