Watergate Hotel Butuan City

I love the environment is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. What i don't like was the drinking water only limit to 3 bottles per day which is a bit hard for me and my kid because he need to have his milk hot and also making hot his food which require quite amount of water

Property ruined the holiday. I booked this room for the mothers birthday and daughter. Arrived 1:30 PM was told 2 PM for check in at 2 PM said room was not available. Had to wait until 4:30 PM before the room was ready! Ruined the afternoon. Next day they called the room to say check out time 11:30. We checked out 1130 and then I looked at the policy and the checkout time is 12. When I ask the front desk about this she said check out 1130 but you can extend until 12. She lied. 12 is check out extend would be afterwards. So we got cheated on check-in by 2 1/2 hours and another 1/2hour check out. I expressed my displeasure several times with the front desk who said they would inform the manager. Nothing happened. Finally after checking out later the front desk girl came to my second room that was booked. Gave me apology with a generic letter with no signature from any manager and a supposed gift. Four cheap facemasks and four packets of sanitizer! Just proved to me that the manager doesn’t care about customers which is a shame because the facility has some good things going. Customers be aware don’t let them cheat you out of your time. Check out time is 12 but the front desk is trained to tell you otherwise to try to get you to leave early. Even after mentioning about discussing this with a manager never did one ever come to apologize for ruining the birthday of the mother and family time. Because of this I cannot recommend this hotel. They did nothing for us
