We liked the property very much, especially Kiki, the reaisent alpaca. Not having control of the temperature of our room was inconvenient and there were not really enough electrical plugs. The major problem I had was with the bathtub. I considered it somewhat dangerous. It was huge and not easy to climb in and out of. Also with the notice about Cusco’s limited water, I think a shower would be much more appropriate. We loved the restaurant and found it very convenient. Carlota spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The front desk staff and housekeeping also did a great job. We enjoyed our stay and liked the four twins beds since we had two grandkids with us. All in all, I’m glad we stayed there.

Property is nice, employees are super kind, helpful and friendly like Graciela at the front desk and people in the restaurant are amazing. Buffet breakfast is super good, many things to pick from it. My kids enjoyed watching the llama Kiki.

I had room 107. This is next to the stairs and the kitchen pantry. I was hoping to sleep until 8am. There is no thermostat in the room so you must sleep with the window open to regulate the temperature. At 4am other hotel guests were banging down the stairs to go on their excursions. This echoed thru the room. ALSO, the kitchen pantry was adjacent to my room. The chef was SLAMMING pantry cabinet doors at 5am. I woke up thinking something had fallen off the wall. I also got very ill from the breakfast at the onsite restaurant. I am 100% positive it was from this breakfast because my bother and I ate the exact same things for 2 days. The only exception was the breakfast at the hotel. I stay in over 100 hotel nights per year and NEVER leave a bad review. However I felt you should know this before you book. FYI, I loved Kiki the hotel baby Llama, and she is the only reason I did not give the hotel 1 star.

The property was quaint, and inclusive. Staff was great, and helpful. I loved the baby Alpaca Kiki in the courtyard. The restaurant staff was amazing, and the food delicious. The beds were comfortable. I liked the live music in the courtyard in the evenings.

Basically, this is a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s in a good spot, away from the main square but close enough that it’s only a short walk. The hotel is generally in good condition and provides many nice amenities. The rooms we had were big, too. My only complaints go to the lack of air conditioning and the floor being quite dirty. Despite the fact that Cusco can get cold, our room was always really warm and without air conditioning or a way to open the windows we were consistently hot at night. Also, walking around the room within 15 minutes we’d find our feet to be black due to the floor seemingly being dirty. It seemed the floor had been cleaned before we entered the room but I’m not sure with what? Might want to pay more attention to this. That said, the baby Alpaca that is there in the mornings was an absolute highlight!

Wonderful staff— Graciela welcomed us with a smile and made sure we received our Expedia VIP benefits. She was also of great help when I developed altitude sickness (the hotel has onsite oxygen). Veronica was wonderful in allowing us to feed Kiki, the resident baby alpaca, and took such great care of him. And the restaurant staff: Roy, Yuliana, Cesar, the chefs, and everyone there were just great in delivering excellent customer service.

It is very well kept and has a staff that goes way out of their way to serve. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in a hotel. Juice fresh pressed, omelettes made to order, coffee from a French press on your table. Kiki the baby alpaca roams the open air lobby. It is on a side street, which is very narrow like most Cusco streets. Safe area, very very well located. It is close to plaza de armas and only a half block from the awesome San Pedro market and the Peru rail train station. I can't say enough about how well this hotel is run. I can't wait to return
