The Golden Frog Inn

The golden frog inn is nothing short of absolutely charming. I was there with my parents, my husband and my kids and it was delightful. The food was great, the views were spectacular and the folks who work there are lovely.

A very beautiful picturesque setting with great weather, friendly staff, a lovely pool to sit beside or swim in. I’m missing it already. Would definitely go back fand recommend. The included breakfast is also very good and served on a lovely deck overlooking the mountains and pool. The town of Valle de Antón is also nice with coffee shops and restaurants especially La Ranita, which had great food and a most gregarious and attentive owner. I think his name is Petyr, or close to that. Also an interesting vegetable and flower market and a handicrafts market as well. A very nice spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Families loved this hotel. A fair number of well behaved children about.
