Very clean and quiet. We were upgraded to a family room and were grateful for the kitchen and extra space.
Yes the room furnishings were dated, but it was very clean, comfortable and quiet.

We booked for a family of 3. The room was very dated and had an over powering smell of cheap air freshener that lingered all night- it was very uncomfortable. The mattresses were extremely worn. The shower was leaking. We were provided with 2 towels for 3 people - they gave us an extra when asked. There was only one mug in the room and 2 glasses. Considering we checked in late - they should have had all the time to prep the room. The Motel is the worst I have stayed in over my 2 weeks holiday in NZ and yet it was one of the most expensive. Not worth it and I wouldn’t be coming back.
