There is a clear definition of what constitutes a suite. It is a room with a separate bedroom, a junior suite has a separate seating area and a regular room may have a sidetable and couch. This room was sold as a suite and was in fact a pleasant but perfectly regular room. In addition there was a concerning lack of security at checkin over my Id and personal details, to the extent that I had to refuse to allow copies to be held on an unsecure computer. On a late pm checkin and again on a late morning checkout the corridors and landings around my room were packed with dirty sheets and towels in trolley cages. An unpleasant and offensive smell. An unattended reception desk with the offending unsecured computer terminals meant a long wait to check out. Raising any issues with the manager and reception staff was met with pleasantries and empty apologies. A request for a more substantive response has to date been ignored.

2nd time I’ve stayed here (brought the whole family this time) and it is the warmest, comfiest spot in the middle of the city. Love this hotel!
