Great family-run hotel, with super friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable mattress, reliable hot water shower, loads of racks (even a coat rack 👍), all on a quiet corner in Thamel.

The location is outstanding with a nice place to eat dinner and get a cappuccino just 10 steps from the front door. Wi-fi very fast. Rooms exactly as shown on the web. The service was extremely good. The hotel manager coordinated all travel requirements: obtaining air tickets to Pokhara as well as a hotel and transport in Pokhara, cars for day trips near Kathmandu, changed money, held my suitcase while I was in Pokhara, got my laundry done. All internationals staying at the hotel, some with serious trekking gear, some with kids. Very safe rooms and surroundings. I was extremely pleased with the experience and a little surprised given the price. Highly recommended.
