Rivoli Select Hotel

I liked very much the facilities cleanliness, but overall the staff attention was kind and made my stay comfortable. I stayed with my dog (2nd floor is designated for pets) and the room was comfortable with very good AC, despite the high heat peak in Veracruz during my visit I enjoyed the room , teh resataurant, and the ppol very much. I highly recommend this Hotel for stay with children and pet owners.

Good hotel. I have stayed there with my family several times and the experience is always good. I like that the place is in good condition, clean, well located, has a restaurant, and the personnel is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

When we arrived the pool was filthy green, it was cleaned after we complained but it started to turn green again after a few days, therefore we did not use the pool, that was frustrating. Avoid the bar as it lacks professional bartending, waiters take turns to attend the bar and they don't know what they are doing, the pina coladas we ordered made us sick with diarrhea for 2 days, which explains why we rarely saw guests in the bar. The gym lacks weights and weight machines are broken, only 2 treadmills worked. At the end the staff tried to scam us, I needed 2 taxis to go to the airport and the staff was charging us 240 pesos for each taxi, they insisted on the price, when I rejected their scam they left us practically stranded, I had to hire two taxis from the street each one charged 150 pesos. The safety box may not work, in one of the 2 rooms the safety box did not work. Hotel has potential to do much better but it lacks proper management, I am not going back, at the moment it was conveniently close to family, that's all.
