Sleep Inn Hermosillo

Hotel is perfect for a goodnight sleep after a long drive. My family and I have stayed here for 4 years every summer on our way to our summer house to Michoacán. Breakfast is delicious as well.

After a 10 hour drive, I love that the check in/out process is very easy. They are ready when we get there with the reservation already printed and when you leave you just hand them the key. We had a good experience the 1st time, so we also stayed on our way back. They have a security guard for the cars and the parking lot is well illuminated. The WiFi worked great, my kid was able to take online video chat classes with no problems. I read previous reviews and saw lots of complaints about the towels. This is true. The 1st time we stayed there we got 1 towel for a double room meant for 4 people. The 2nd time we stayed there our room had 2 towels (still not enough) but no shower soap. This was not an issue for us, since I travel with my own towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The breakfast consists of coffee, orange juice, sliced bread, Mexican pastries, chilaquiles, beans, and eggs w/ham (day 1), eggs w/chorizo (day 2), and sliced fruit (papaya & cantaloupe). I asked for cereal because my kid doesn't eat eggs and the chilaquiles are spicy but they said that due to COVID they don't have any. So if you stay there with kids, there isn't much of a breakfast choice for them.

I had to cancel my stay. The hotel clerks made it seem that I had reserved a single to justify my room not available until I showed them my reservation details they offered my money back. They wanted me to have a single room when I reserved and paid for a double for our family of 4.
