Holiday Inn Express Culiacan, an IHG Hotel

Nice clean hotel, easy to find. Busy streets, but couldn't hear traffic from our room. What we could hear, however, was the staff coming in to prepare breakfast, starting at about 4:30 AM. Our room was right next to the kitchen, so it was "chop chop chop", door openings and closing, and staff talking and laughing, right from about 4:30 AM. Not much sleep after that. When we did decide to actually get up, we went to make coffee with the in-room coffeemaker. But...no coffee there! Out to the front desk, and no coffe there either. Hmmm.... Back to the room to grab the pot from the coffeemaker, and into the breakfast room to fill er up. Well, you woulda thought I was stealing the family jewels! Got hassled,and with my limited Spanish it was difficult to tell them what was going on. Finally got it done, and at least had coffee. Overall, not a bad hotel at all, just don't stay in room 015 , next to the kitchen.
