Hotel Rancho Encantado

Quiet and clean and beautiful, great for kids

This place is great for family I loved

Stayed for one night with 2 children (having driven from Tulum). We stayed in lake view cabin which had beautiful views and was spacious, whilst maintaining a rustic feel. The road to the hotel could have been better lit and smoother. The level of service was good, but the fine touches we had experienced at all the other hotels in Mexico (4-5 star), such as offering to help with our bags when unloading our car, etc. was not there. Breakfast was average. We took a boat tour from the hotel which was very worthwhile, and our tour guide/ driver of the boat was fantastic. Overall the hotel service was good, the lake views were exceptional. For us, a one night stay here was about right.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children so I liked the room, it was confortable, it was close from the lagoon and the restaurant, I request double beds and were there at arrival so that was great. food is really good, breakfasts is included and they have fresh juice as well, lunch and dinner you can also have it at the hotel, with extra charge and is not that expensive, we all love the lagoon, paddle board and cayaks, staff is excelent, so kind and always able to help, Alexander at the concierge help us a lot with every single thing, Francisco at the breakfast buffet was soo kind to explain to us everything we should order and eat. We just loved it We certainly come back!

Loved the room, great a/c, pool area was great for kids food options were good service was excellent except for our last meal our waiter fell short compared the the other two who served us during our stay they went above and beyond will stay here again and recommend to friends family

Right on the water with a view of the lake from our bed. The wifi and air conditioning worked well. Our daughter really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. Definitely take the boat ride with Santo, he’ll bring you to 5 different spots two of them you can swim in. The restaurant is ok but it’s nothing to write home about. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car and drove into the town of bacalar ,which is like 5 minutes away, and spent the day looking at an old fort and eating foods. My family and I had a great time.

one of nicest places around the world to have peace and enjoy the beautiful environment!. we went with my son and grand kids (10, and 14), they were very happy here! they came from Germany, before Bacalar we were in Cozumel, one all inclusive in Playa del Carmen. Merida, Valladolid, Cancun, and other places. the best one for them was Rancho Encantado , BACALAR
