Quinta Real Huatulco

This place was amazing! It is not however ADA friendly. So many stairs! We would get over 10,000 steps in just a few hours from going up and down to the pool/beach. They do have transportation available so I wouldn’t let this discourage you from staying. We stayed with our young kids (ages 6 and 7) and they also loved it! We liked that it was quiet and family friendly. Not a party scene like some of the other hotels down the beach.

The Quinta Real is a unique hotel with all the services of a resort "on call" but without the hassle of crowds. The main hotel facilities are located on the top of a hill overlooking one of the beautiful Huatulco Bays. There are 28 rooms and suites. Our room... and I believe all of the rooms... had a beautiful view of the bay from our private balcony. The resort has a private beach accessed by a path leading down past the suites, resort condominiums, beach pool area, restaurant, and spa. The beach "concierge" Moises can arrange for hobby cat sailing, private fishing or snorkeling trips (up to six hours), jet skiing, etc. The beach attendant, "Flavio" is a good man to know. He gets you fixed up under a grass roofed structure so that you can enjoy the beach without cooking in the hot sun. Their private beach is spotless, quiet, children can play on their own, and adults can relax without the blare of Katy Perry in the background. The pool does have music playing but you can ask them to turn it down. There is a tennis court and instructors if required.
