Marialicia Suites

After the airlines cancelled my flight and lost one night at the hotel, we were surprised by an upgraded room. Everything was perfect! It was like being at home. The staff treated us like family, always ready to help us. Dulce, the manager was truly classy and so helpful, arranged a van to accommodate our large group for a tour. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was quiet, a little walk to the main downtown area but worth it. Nice restaurant right down the street accommodated our large group. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Truly the perfect place to stay in Oaxaca for our family of 4. We had the family suite with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and it made our stay there dramatically better than any hotel room. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with very easy 10 min walking access to everything you could want in the city center. An easy 25 min ride from the airport also made life easy. The rooms were kept beautifully and the fridge was stocked with everything we needed. Bathrooms and shower were perfect, great water pressure and heat and they made it very easy for our kids with a crib for our infant and helped us get high quality reliable baby sitters when we wanted to go out. Can't recommend this place more!

Just completed a lovely four night stay and everything was extremely nice. Entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. The hotel is newly redecorated and everything was really well done and modern. Comfortable beds, nice towels, plenty of bath amenities and most importantly very clean. The hotel is about an 8 block, 12 minute walk to main part of Centro which wasn't perfect but not a problem. Definitely recommend this place for a couple or family looking for a little more room in a relaxing environment with super nice staff.

The entire staff was friendly and gracious. Our family was very happy staying at Marialicia. Dulce at the front desk was outstanding. She answered every question and gave excellent recommendations. We highly recommend this hotel.

Marialicia suites - is a beautiful boutique type hotel on the edge of the 'centro' area. Nery Castillo - front desk - is friendly guy who can help you with making restaurant reservations, arranging airport transport or driver for the day. He can also give suggestions on sites to visit. Upon walking into the hotel, I was impressed not only by the service but also the newness & immaculate cleanliness of the place . There are about 10 suites and we occupied the junior suite on the 2nd floor at the very end of the hotel. The one bedroom suite has a beautiful kitchenette area fully furnished with microwave, stove, fridge, sink, dishes & silverware. The fridge is also filled with drinks - water, soda, etc that you can purchase. There's a counter area with four stools plus a 'living room' with 2 armchair & coffee table. Not much of a view out of the big Window in the living room but certainly a lot of natural light. There's also a skylight in the hall. The sink is outside of the shower/toilet room. We love the big shower head. Full amenities - hairdryer, scale, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, toothpaste, & shaving kit. The floors are shiny tiles .. no carpet .. yay ! There is a flat screen TV in the bedroom & air conditioning above the bed. A tall lean space heater in the living room. The only thing missing is paper towel in the kitchen - would have been nice to have. The walk to the 'Oaxaca sign' by the 'Santa Domingo' church takes about 15 minutes or so. There is a little sto
