Great staff. Super friendly. Only issue was no smart tv/access to Netflix etc. with a single child…

We stayed at El Pueblito Sayulita for one week in April 2024 with our family, in one of the family rooms adjacent to the pool. The staff are, for the most part, exceptionally friendly and helpful and the management is working hard to make the hotel one people will return to. One young guy working in the restaurant really needs to learn how to smile, though! Our room was clean in all the ways that matter, including the dishes, drawers and the fridge. - My only suggestion would be to do a bit of cobweb/dust removal higher on the walls/in the top corners of the rooms - oh, and the grouting on the sides of the shower tiles could be scrubbed better or renewed, as it was leaning toward black. ...and the cushions on the lounge chairs by the pool could be cleaned. But the sheets and towels were pristine and everything felt clean. There is a lot of wood (tables, stools, lounge chairs) and beautiful tile, which feels high quality. The many ceramic pots of all sizes with well-taken-care-of plants really add to the place, as well as the landscaping with palms, shrubs and ground cover in the courtyard. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with more large plants and a palapa roof. My husband did his exercises there in the morning using the yoga mats that are available (much appreciated that this was there and in such a beautiful spot) and our daughter joined the morning yoga a couple of times. I have more to write... but no more room.

This property was exactly as advertised. We wanted a room with a kitchen and space for a family of four. Location is great, walking distance to everywhere. It is also away from the noisy parts of the town center. Pool was nice and staff was great.

We booked our room months in advance and we were given a room that had no daylight. It was on a corner of the inner courtyard. The bathroom was in disrepair with stains in the walls. I think that booking through Expedia almost always gives the worst rooms in any location. The hotel said I should book only through them. We booked for 9 days and wished we hadn’t. The photos look great. The hotel is not. Our little family was very disappointed.

Staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Very clean. We loved that breakfast was included and made to order (Get the chilaquiles and the cafe de olla! Yum!) Walking distance to all the good restaurants and the beach. Perfect setup for our family with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living area w/ kitchen. Not that you will want to cook with so much good food around! One improvement I would make is better lighting in the bathrooms. And maybe a magnifying mirror for my not-so-young eyes. :)

As other reviewers have mentioned, El Pueblito De Sayulita is a really special place. We loved everything about it. The neighborhood seems really safe, friendly and welcoming. After a few days, it felt really great to venture out and come back. Alejandro and Anna were extraordinarily kind and friendly, but every employee we encountered was amazing. The key to this place is, it's in the perfect spot. It's a 3min walk to the beach just right out of the hotel, and a very short walk the other way and you're in the heart of everything, but being on the other side of the Sayulita river takes you away from all the noise. Our premium suite, or family suite was amazing. Huge, and multiple bedrooms to keep everyone in the family comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again, and in fact plan too!

El Pueblito was nice. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you get, but maybe not because I think Sayulita may be that way overall. There was plenty of room with the two bedrooms and two baths. The set up of a king bed in one room and a pair of twin beds in the other was perfect for us (family with 2 teens). The people were nice (the food recs we got from the front desk not great) and the free water and coffee was good to have (you could go fill up water bottles near reception). It was very fun to drive around the golf cart we rented for the day from them. The reason I say it may be overpriced is that we didn’t have full water in the kitchen or one of the bathrooms for a couple of days. And the hot tub wasn’t hot. The pool is nice enough (a little run down, but fine), but the hot tub was barely even warm. The location is good, close to the beach and close to the main part of town. Not too noisy, but not super quiet either.

Stayed here with my family for 8 nights. The suite was amazing with full kitchen, balcony overlooking the pool, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The suite and property were very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and seemed to go out their way to be accommodating and welcoming. My kids loved the pool. It isn't heated which made it very refreshing. There is a hot tub there to warm up in if needed. There was ample seating and lounge chairs with umbrellas. The courtyard and pool area is like a little oasis filled with tropical plants and palm trees. There is also a restaurant on site. The hotel is only about a block and a half from the beach and a short 5 minute walk to the main square. Lots of little corner stores within a block. We were there with two children under the age of 10 so being able to easily walk everywhere was great. There is also yoga on the rooftop in the mornings. We will definitely be staying here the next time we return to Sayulita!! Loved this place!

Loved that it was very cloae to the hustle and bustle of the plaza but juat the perfect amount of away to be quiet. Staff is wonderful, pool is lovely, convenient to everything. Met other travellers which was nice. Room was nice, firm beds but seems the way in Mexico. Hot water but couldn't figure out the pressure, but it was fine. Our stay had lots of kids but it didnt bother me much, though if you were hoping for no kids, this isnt the place. Enjoyed our stay!
