Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon

What is there to say about this property. Whilst staying here for a week of vacation I was made to feel at home by the most amazing staff I have ever come across on my travels. It started with Gehani, who welcomed my partner and I to the island, and made every request we had to her come through. She was one of the most helpful and genuinely caring persons we met who helped make us feel at home at this resort. Also, sucil and leem went above and beyond to always ensure our needs were met and that anything we asked for was available to us. The food was amazing every single day and we particularly liked chef sanjewa who always provided quality meals. Additinally, moosa helped make our stay within our villa always magical with his birthday and honeymoon celebratory creations. Whilst the staff were amazing and created a truly enjoyable stay, I cannot even begin to talk about the reef which surrounds this island. I’ve snorkeled many places around the world and this was truly the most beautiful, vibrant and alive reef with thousands of fish, sharks, and rays we’ve ever seen. I was truly astounded and loved that the staff continue to make every attempt to protect the reef. I will recommend this resort to anyone who loved snorkeling and diving and who really enjoys being a part of a family because the staff at this resort truly make you feel at home.

Best vacation I have ever been on. By the end of our stay the staff felt more like family. I was left in tears when it was time to leave. The most beautiful place I have ever visited. The house reef is amazing with plenty of wild life- sharks, turtles, manta rays, sting rays, thousand of tropical fish. Hands down best vacation ever. Thank you to everyone at Ellaidhoo ❤️❤️❤️

Had 6 nights - 2 adults 3 children. Everyone really friendly, beach/lagoon are beautiful, staff very good to us. Would highly recommend & would love to return next year.

Had a really bad experience here that cost me more money. Booked through Orbitz and the website told me that they would reach out to me through email; never got an email after a month and a half of booking. Had to reach out to Orbitz offline team since he hotel never picked up the phone even with calculating the time difference. After a while of going back and forth and give the hotel all my Details's of arrival and departure so I could have my sea plane on arrival and speed boat on departure. Got to the airport no problem got to the room there were holes and cracks everywhere on the floor; black stained on the floor plastic covering one side of our water bungalow. Smh I would expect that from a 3 star or 2 not a 5 star. Long story morning day before I'm suppose to leave out party of 5 all get calls at our rooms telling us that we won't be able to accommodate your flight times. Are you kidding me ?! Why even give the arrival times and departure times if you ended up making booked a later flight which cost me a whole new ticket to get home so I didn't miss my connection. And have the other people in my party wait at the airport for 6 hours ?! And all you could do is give them VIP in the lounge. NEVERAGAIN BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

Good experience had a great stay at this hotel.However, the WiFi was non existent in most parts of the island. Had a hard time reaching out to friends, family and colleagues abroad.
