Everything is great. The staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is wonderful. The Planters restaurant (with server Kenny) a la carte service is Michelin standard (but at much lower cost). Great for kids. Etc

A very nice hotel with a beautiful pool are and nice beach. The rooms are well-equipped and super clean. The Italian restaurant offers very good food options. We had a a nice spa experience with very well-trained therapists who were also friendly and kind to my daughter. However, from time to time, the service needs improvement. Orders we placed were too often forgotten throughout the stay. The hotel can be recommended, especially when traveling with children.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our luggage was lost by the airline for 2 days and they couldn't do enough to try and help us track it down and make our stay as comfortable as possible in the meantime. The island is beautiful but has clearly been impacted by COVID, we expected shops and restaurants to be in walking distance of the hotel but in reality your only choices are to eat at the hotel or travel to other nearby hotels to eat in their restaurants if you want a bit of variety. The food in the hotel is excellent, even the buffet is very good quality and plenty of choice to cater for all tastes. The hotel is very popular with families so is not ideal for couples as there is no dedicated adults only pool, meaning you don't get much peace and quiet relaxing by the main pool. The hotel could also do more to be environmentally friendly, eg installing water refill points instead of handing out hundreds of plastic bottles. Overall a lovely stay and definitely recommended if you're visiting Langkawi

This was one of the true 5 star experience we received in Malaysia. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We enjoyed the welcome massage. Pool layout was great, with shades from tree around to rest in jacuzzi area in sun heat. Beach has gorgeous view of islands and mountains Kids enjoyed the pool and beach, extremely clean and good bar services. Unfortunately, due to short stay, were unable get them participate in the kid’s club activities. Many other hotels have stopped such services during MCO. Though it was Christmas peak, it was not crowded. Breakfast was awesome with variety of offerings, just need to wait little longer for ala carte services. Bell service was immediately answered, and serviced rendered literally once you hang up your phone. Bedding comfort and cleanliness was immaculate. Only undesirable experience, was the ants attacked our food and kid’s milk. Staff did turn up to clean immediately, but there seems to be ant nest in the room, hence it attacked again. Staff were friendly and courteous. Kudos. Will definitely consider this for our next visit to Langkawi.

I had an amazing stay at Danna. All staffs were super friendly and so helpful. They will treat you like a family. Check in & check out was super easy and fast. The breakfast was delicious but not so many varieties because of MCO. Its quite understandable. Will stay here if went to langkawi again.

This hotel was amazing. From our greeting at the airport to the final goodbye we were constantly met with smiles from the staff. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at The Danna and I would definitely stay again. My partner and I are in our 20’s and didn’t feel out of place at all. It was mostly couples staying at the hotel with the occasional family. The 3 main restaurants were all top class and there were also some great ones along the marina just outside if you felt like something different. The buffet breakfast every morning was great and had a huge selection of local and international dishes. Could not recommend The Danna highly enough. Thanks for a great holiday!
