Hotel Vilnia

Great location. Excellent place to stay with a family.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Vilnius. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was furnished to a very hight standard and was spotless when I arrived. They were not doing daily cleaning by default, it was a matter of leaving a hanger on the door to request further cleaning, I did this once during my stay and that was spotless too. The bed appeared to have memory foam mattress, this was very comfortable. The internet was fast, and it was useful being able to use apps such as Netflix on the smart TV. My only criticism of the rooms would probably be the hardwood floors, these looked great but were quite noisy. I think there were children staying in the room directly above mine and they seemed to be scraping the chair around on the floor for several hours each night for some reason, which was a little irritating. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I did not try the restaurant in the evening but it looked good. The location was ideal for seeing all the sights Riga has to offer. Will stay here again when I come back to Vilnius.
