Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi

Love the room I got. Twin bed in a single room. Rather narrow but it works for an average sized person with 1 luggage. Hotel is very simple, very self-service. On the 2nd floor (which is the reception area), there is a baggage storage area you can conveniently leave your luggages at if it’s not time for you to check in to your room yet, and there is a microwave for guests’ use, vending machines for drinks, and a laundry room for guests’ use. If you don’t need much hotel service, this hotel is perfect. Highly recommend for solo travellers as it is a mere 2 mins walk to Asakusabashi station east exit, hence very convenient and safe. Saw a few families as well, I guess it works for small families (up to 4 pax?) The only problem I faced was I wanted to use the kettle to boil water, but the spout was dusty… so I didn’t get any hot water during my stay unfortunately. Other than this, I’ll still come back to this hotel for my solo trips to Tokyo.

Hotel was great & clean overall. It's conveniently located near 2-3 subway lines and lots of small local restaurants nearby. Our reservation was for 2 adults and a 13 yr old daughter for a TwinExtra room. HOWEVER, after checking in, we found that the sofa bed had no bedding/pillow so we asked the staff to provide. We were told that a child is under age 3 and we had to pay EXTRA 2000yen/day for our daughter to stay. On their website, for the TWINEXTRA rooms have [Capacity] 3 adults 2 children under 6 !! Why did we get charged more?? It was not that much but I feel we shouldn't be paying for it when website says the room can hold 3 adults 2 kids (under 6). Minus a star.

Place is not for families, it’s small dusty and not updated . Not much basic amenities to feel comfortable. Didn’t even help us with taxi

Typical tiny room but well equipped. Excellent location a lot of restaurants&convenient stores plus its near the station. Breakfast is in an indian resto downstairs more choices in 711& family mart

Everything about this hotel is good; not too fancy, but you have everything that you need, and you can tell that everything has been thoughtfully chosen, and placed to suit your traveling needs. I really liked HenNa, I wish that I had stayed longer and would definitely reccomend it to young professionals traveling alone, but I also saw a few small families there as well so I believe they are accommodated as well. Check in is efficient and easy in many languages, but the kind staff can help you if needed. I liked this hotel, if I return I will stay again; a connected resturant provides Japanese breakfast and very good Indian curry for lunch as well.
