Overall very positive. The baths were great with four options to enjoy the spa. The rooms were small but comfortable and easily accomodated us. The room did smell like musty baby powder though, and the pool was closed on the 31st floor, so that was dissapointing. I would recommend this place to anyone though.

The hotel looks nice and the bed is great but I expected better service from such a fancy hotel branch. The fourth of April around 5pm I recieved the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We asked the young man at the front desk to help us book a taxi for the next day and because we had skis with us we needed a big car. The receptionist was incapable to think further than the taxi company the hotel collaborated with, which didn't have big cars. When asked to help us he struggled to reply, just scrolled up and down on his computer, barely communicating with us, almost pretended as if we weren't even there. A colleuge of his came to help, we thought, but he wouldn't look at us when talked to, even less reply when the women in my family tried to talk to him. We asked to see the manager but was denied so. We felt altermost disrespected, ignored and as if we weren't worthy their service.

The room is way too tiny, lots of residents waiting for lift peak hour, it may take long time to get a lift just to up & down, there is a Lawson convenient store on L2 but longline waiting for the lift & as well as waiting to checkout at convenience store. Not recommended if travel with family or have lots of luggages.

This turned out to be a very great ending to a beautiful visit to Japan. It's hotels like this that make me want to return as soon as possible. The staff didn't waste time on making me feel safe and comfortable. The train stop couldn't be at a better location and the food in the area is perfect for a traveler, a family, and/or a picky eater. From McDonalds served with unparalleled cleanliness and perfectly cooked expertise to Ramen stores that cater to the traveler. I suspect you'd be lucky to get a room during the Sumo Basho, but in 2025 when the Edo Museum opens its doors to the public again, this hotel is one of the best kept secrets. APA? You guys knocked it out of the ballpark.

This hotel is in a very interesting area. There are a number of attractions in easy walking distance, including the Hokusai museum and the Edo museum and the water taxi. If you like martial arts, this place is well located. It is in the heart of the Sumo tradition and right next to the Tokyo sumo stadium. There is only one tournament there each year and you are unlikely to get into that. But there are dozens of Sumo Stables in the area and you can arrange to visit them for morning practice. That is an amazing experience and you will never be closer to the action. That is a must do. Local restaurants specialize in serving the food that the wrestlers eat and many have sumo rings inside the restaurant as well. Also in close walking distance is the Japanese Sword Museum set in a beautiful park. Check out the sword shop half a block from the hotel to see very expensive antique swords. There is also a traditional Aikido dojo that allows visitors. The train is very close so you can get to other areas of Tokyo very easily. The downside was the rooms are small, more like a cruise ship cabin. The pool was closed and seems to be that way permanently. There was also a leak in the hall during heavy rain. But there is a full boathouse in the basement. Inexpensive laundry facilities and a fabulous convenience store for all your food needs. The price was also very fair.

This is a great location for serious martial arts fans. It is within short walking distance of the Japanese Sword museum, which sits in a beautiful park. The National Sumo stadium is right next door. But there are only a few tournaments a year, so you won’t be seeing that. However, there are dozens of Sumo Stablez in the area and you can arrange tours were you get to watch the morning practice! This is not to be missed and you will see wrestling closer than you ever could at a tournament. The experience of a lifetime. Also close by is a sword shop where you can spend princely sums on antique blades. There is also a traditional Aikido dojo right down the street. The train is close Bu so you can get anywhere in Tokyo you want. The Edo Museum is right next door and it looks fantastic but was closed when we were there for extensive renovations. Also don’t count on the pool. I booked for that but it is never open. The spa is large though. A very convenient store on the second floor is wonderful after returning from exploring the city.

Overall our experience staying at the property is good. Pretty quiet and within walking distance (3 mins) to Ryogoku Station. There were eating outlets, family mart near the hotel. Hotel is clean, bed is pretty comfortable. Only set back was the size of the room, kind of small for 3 adults with 3 big luggages. Not sufficient space to even place the luggages.

While the rooms were fine enough for our week-long stay, they were ridiculously small. The pillows were reminiscent of cardboard, and the sheets were rather loud. It felt a bit like they had put all their money into a somewhat gaudy lobby that really doesn’t match the quality of the rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families or groups, but it might be good for solo travelers or people traveling for business. They had a convenience store in the hotel which was convenient, but it felt overall like a place people would inly stay at for business trips or meetings. The area was alright— not a tourist area but was quite walkable.
