We loved our stay at the Wires Hotel James Zaka. There are so many positive elements - the local area is clean, minimal traffic, affluent demographic, there is 3 convenience stores within 200 meters, there is a playground and an enclosed public soccer pitch within 100 meters. There are two station within short walking distance and Shinagawa station is just a couple of stops away. Check-in is self service but super easy, apartment is sound proof and quiet, we found the place clean and well maintained. Cutlery, cookware etc new and provide for us to cook at home. appartment size is reasonable for Japan - if I had one complaint it would be that the mattresses were a little too firm for my liking. Would stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family to stay here.

We traveled here with my wife and two kids. The place was amazing. The check in process was easy once you get through the registration process. We would definitely stay here if we come back to Tokyo.

We loved this place! We stayed here for the last few days before we headed back to US and this was probably the best hotel we stayed out for the price range considering we stayed at 4 star hotels and such. It was only 30 minutes away from Haneda airport making the trip easier for us 6am in the morning. The room was spacious and nicely designed with a kitchen, living room, and couch area. Only thing was that the couch looked crusty and stained. We did use the washer and tried to dry it with the washer/dryer using Google translate but after 3 hours it wasn’t dried. But we figured out that you’re supposed to hang the clothes in the shower hanger rod and put the dryer function on via the panel outside the shower and it was dried within an hour. The hotel is also close to a 7-11 and family mart making midnight snack runs easier. Check-in and check out was super easy as they give you a code and we felt safe the entire time staying there. Everything we needed was provided and there was more supplies on the first floor such as towels and cleaning supplies if we needed it. It was such a nice stay here and 10/10 would stay here again!

There are several things we love about this property. Its proximity to Ooimachi station is convenient to all the major areas in Tokyo and the Aomonoyokocho Station is about 30 minutes to Haneda Airport. The place has a built-in washer, a setting in the bathroom that dries the bathroom after usage, and a setting that dries laundry when it is hung in the bathroom's drying rod. Our family is not used to the small hotel space that is typical of Japan so having a space with a dining table, a couch that converts to an extra bed, and a small kitchen while staying in Tokyo was greatly appreciated. We were a bit surprised to see the dust and dirt on the upper shelves and around the washer since Tokyo is known for its cleanliness. One of the downside of this place is all the laundry stored around the stairs.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay as a family of 3! Positives: - There were more than enough towels for the duration of my stay, which was very helpful. - The room was generally clean and easy to use. - Swift response which was very helpful. - Although the hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, it wasn’t too far, and it was convenient to reach places like Shinjuku/Shibuya and Haneda Airport without needing to transfer. Development: - It’s more like an air B&B than a hotel - There were stains? mold? on the sofa, which was a bit disappointing as it was clean generally (but there was an extra sheets which we could use to cover it). - The air conditioner was leaking small amount of water, which was a bit concerning (there were extra towels wo we use them). - Perhaps due to a lack of storage, many items were left around the entrance and stairwell, creating a bit of a cluttered atmosphere.

Great place to stay with the family. Spacious for Japan standards. Cute neighborhood away from the busier areas. We highly recommend.
